Blennyvision

Blenny peeking out from a hole in coral.

A blenny about 5 mm wide feeding in the shallows near Aqua Safari resort in Cozumel, Mexico. (September 2022)

Near the end of my two month stay in Cozumel, I started doing shore dives to focus on capturing the smaller things that are difficult to see without magnification. To this day, I never get tired of spending time around blennies. These weird little fish have unique personalities and expressions that make them wonderful models for photos and videos.

Below is a quick edit I made of some blennies using my Olympus TG6 around the same time. I found these guys on the small wrecks just north of town in Cozumel.
